Lydia is smitten. Last night was her night to sleep in my bed while Tim is away and it became apparent how much she’s grown up this year. Here is my little girl on FaceTime with one of her dance girlfriends watching Troy and Gabrielle music videos. I give her a look and she starts giggling.

A few weeks ago she came into my room crying. I ask why and she says Grace told her that Troy is old in real life. I’m like why does that upset you? And she says in a very serious voice, “Because that’s what want for my birthday!” Tears rolling down her face. Oh sweet girl… Troy is actually Zac Efron and yes he’s about mommy’s age. At least she has good taste!
