My kids are so sweet. {they can also be monsters but mostly sweet ☺️}

Timmy is on the floor with his toy camera making kissing sounds trying to get the dogs attention so he can take their pictures.

We told him this weekend that Madison is his dog now and that he’s old enough to start feeding her and letting her out. He took it very serious.

Now I used to be a “dog” person. Not so much these days since they’ve decided that they are going to EAT the house. This is Grace hanging out with Madison in the homemade doggie door she made for herself…

We were outside and right now we only have one bike. We are hoping that Santa Clause will bring Timmy a big boy bike and then Grace can get Timmy’s tricycle {the price you gotta pay for being the second child} So for now they have to share and I was pleasantly surprised when I turned around to see this brilliant idea:

Whenever anyone gets hurt Timmy runs over to kiss it better. This is kind of random but only because he just did it to me. Then he gives you a big smile and says, “All better?”

These two are really getting so close. They fight a lot yes but they are best friends. Always looking for the other if one left the room. Always kissing and hugging. It’s so awesome.

It’s very possible that my kids will grow up thinking vegetables come in the shape of a Popsicle… But at least they are getting the healthy goodness, right?!

Organic Carrots were buy one get one so now they are Popsicles.

Berry Carrot Popsicles

A cup of baby carrots, half a banana, a little orange juice, blueberries and raspberries. I steamed the carrots and then puréed them adding just enough orange juice to make it smooth. Then added the rest of the fruit.

The kids LOVED them, me on the other hand not my favorite.

My latest attempt of sneaking some healthy food in Timmy’s diet:

Quinoa Cookies

A cup of cooked quinoa, a cup of oats, diced banana, diced dates, 2 T brown sugar, 1/2 t cinnamon, 1/4 t salt. Mix together. Beat 2 eggs and add to mixture. Baked for 15 minutes on 350. Dabbed melted dark chocolate on too when they came out of the oven. Huge hit!

Veggie Berry Pops

Handful of kale spinach mix, a little orange juice. Blend in bullet. Add berries and a banana. We all enjoyed these.

In his most sincere sweet little voice, “Mommy you’re pretty and you have a really pretty elbow!”

This child is literally living on peanut butter and waffles! I’m desperately trying to get him to eat a vegetable but I get lazy and there he goes eating his fifth peanutbutter sandwich this week. It’s embarrassing.

Here are my attempts at sneaking in different foods:

Pumpkin Banana Carrot Muffins

A banana, a can of Libby’s pumpkin purée, a grated carrot, a cup of flour, a tsp of baking powder, 1/4 cup of brown sugar, 2 eggs and a handful of dark chocolate chips.

Mix together, bake on 350 for 20 minutes.

Me and Grace liked them but Timmy did not like the pumpkin smell so grrrr

Greek Yogurt Popsicles

A banana, a cup of Greek yogurt, some honey and a couple blueberries.

These were delicious and both kids loved them.

“Look Mommy, a waterfall!”

“Poopy looks like snakes.”

“Look Mommy, I peepee like a doggy!”

“This potty is dirty.” {head first sniffing the toilet bowl}

“Timmy don’t sniff toilets!”

“Timmy don’t put your finger in the stream! It’s not a waterfall.”

“Stop right there mommy, I do it myself.” {that made me a little sad}

Songs:

“Peepee on the potty bomp, bomp, BOMP!”

“You boop it and you flush it. You boop it, you flush it!” – Daddy is responsible for that gem of a song 😂
This song got Timmy over his fear of flushing.

This never happens anymore. She just crawled up in my lap, hugged me and next thing I know she’s out. 😴

Loving this snuggle time.
